1. Client Support:
- Assist clients in locating and securing appropriate housing options.
- Conduct initial assessments of clients' housing needs and financial status.
- Provide counseling and support regarding housing options, lease agreements, and tenant rights.
2. Housing Management:
- Coordinate with landlords, property managers, and housing agencies to secure housing opportunities.
- Maintain a database of available housing resources and rental properties.
- Monitor housing availability and market trends to identify potential opportunities.
3. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, housing placements, and case notes.
- Prepare and submit reports on housing placements, program outcomes, and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and housing program regulations.
4. Collaboration & Advocacy:
- Work with social workers, case managers, and community partners to address clients' housing-related needs.
- Advocate for clients facing eviction, discrimination, or other housing challenges.
- Liaise with local government agencies and non-profits to develop partnerships and expand housing resources.
5. Financial Coordination:
- Assist clients in applying for housing subsidies, grants, or rental assistance programs.
- Monitor and manage housing budgets and expenditures, if applicable.
- Provide guidance on budgeting and financial literacy related to housing.
