Duties
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV infusions for critical and acute care patients.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications and health products.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication orders, and patient information.
- Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile preparations to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management.
- Keep the pharmacy area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical products, services, and medical terminology to enhance patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of IV infusion techniques and critical care practices is highly desirable.
