Vastek Group is seeking a skilled and experienced travel nurse to fill a vital role in our team.
Job Summary:
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in PCU - Progressive Care Unit to work on a 13-week contract basis. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as required
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams
- Foster a culture of safety, respect, and empathy within the healthcare environment
Requirements:
- RN license in Michigan (MI)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU or similar settings
- 1 year of experience with Cerner electronic health records system
- Telemetry experience is essential
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Covid-19 vaccination card
Working Conditions:
