Note: Onsite role - It will be more accounts receivable than payable. Also, it's only very basic EXCEL, if at all. Long story short, it's a lot of making copies, filing paperwork, and matching invoices. …!!!
Description:
This position reports directly to the Accounting manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Performing day to day financial transactions, such as calculating, verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts payable data.
Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies.
Prioritizing invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
Performing vendor and bank reconciliations.
Recording and tracking prepaid expenses.
Auditing monthly credit card expenses and supporting documents.
About You
Two years or more experience in accounts payable and working knowledge of GAAP.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Good knowledge of EXCEL spreadsheets
