The ideal candidate for this role will be based in the Southern California or Arizona sales office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales objectives, programs, and budgets to drive business growth.
- Lead and oversee sales operations through Territory Sales Managers, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Monitor competitors' products, sales strategies, and market trends to refine business approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts to generate sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and support teams to meet customer needs and ensure timely account collections.
- Oversee the training, development, and performance of district personnel, including Territory Managers, Field Supervisors, administrative, and engineering staff.
- Implement employee retention programs, professional development plans, and succession strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in construction or a related industry.
- Must have experience with Forming and Shoring and understands the construction cycle.
- Prior management experience is preferred.
- A college degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement sales and service plans while guiding the team to success.
- Negotiation and strategic thinking skills to drive sales and resolve business challenges.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
- Travel required as part of the role.
