Job Description:
Position: RN Unit Manager
Location: Jersey Shore, PA 17740
Facility: Long Term Care
Contract: 17 weeks
Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $68- $72/HR
Responsibilities
- Delegated staff nurse duties
- Manage and mentor nursing staff to ensure quality patient care
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care delivery
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure patient safety
- Handle staffing, scheduling, and performance management within the unit
- Provided training and supervision on a LTC unit
- Evaluated accuracy and compliance of all documentation and reports
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS/CPR Certified
- 1-2 years experience required
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and healthcare systems.
