FOH Restaurant Manager
Vaughan Hospitality Group (VHG, Inc.) is a group of high volume bars and restaurants in the Chicago area. Locations are as follows : Emerald Loop Bar & Grill, Corcoran’s Grill & Pub, Chicago Brewhouse on the Riverwalk and Vaughan’s Pub (2 locations).
We currently have Front of House (FOH) Manager opportunities.
Position summary :
The FOH Manager provides leadership to ensure that all team members are guest-focused, that processes are followed and that guests have an “excellent customer experience”. The FOH Manager will have knowledge of restaurant operations, manage staff resources, develop and coach team members, ensure compliance with processes and quality standards and help to build sales and profits.
Qualified candidates bring a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience in addition to restaurant management or hospitality management training.
Responsibilities include :
- Responsible for all front-of-the-house (FOH) functions on an opening or closing shift to include :
o guest relations,
o supervision of all FOH staff and staffing levels,
o proper restaurant ambience and set-up,
o procedures are followed
o food, beverage and service quality are maintained
o Identifies staffing shortages
o Interviews and give input on new hires
o Coordinates staff training
Job Requirements :
Compensation
67,000 annually plus up 25% annual bonus paid out quarterly. PTO, MedicaL and 401K Plan
