JOB TITLE: SCHOOL-WIDE CAMPUS AIDE SUPERVISOR
STATUS: Full Time (Non-Exempt), 195 DAYS, 8 HRS/DAY
REPORTS TO: School Operations Manager
DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the School Operations Manager and in collaboration with School Site Administrators, The Campus Aide Supervisor will provide ongoing guidance and support to campus aides across all campuses for day to day activates, as well as management of personnel (Campus Aides)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support aides with organized play activities
- Be a liaison between campus aides and certificated personnel to address concerns
- Coordinate meetings when needed to address new changes, concerns and other related areas
- Collaborate with PBIS team on effective strategies that will support PBIS during unstructured times
- Evaluate areas of use by students, make suggestions and work with site directors to maximize areas during unstructured times.
- Schedule and participate in interviews to select personnel for campus aides substitutes
- Compose campus aides schedule, with student needs in mind and HR polices
- Ensure campus aides are proactive in supervision and following schedule
- Support campus aides during emergency incidents
- Provides training to campus aides and subs
- Assist in any conflict resolution between aides
- Conducts classified employee evaluations
- Submit bi-monthly payroll for campus aide substitutes
- Ensure sub list is up to date and phone numbers are current
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others
- Work confidentially and with discretion
- Ensure adherence to safety and emergency protocols
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
AA degree (60 semester units or 90 quarter units) or on track to complete AA within 6 months of hire

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth in a school environment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Desirable - Management of large students groups or personnel staff

Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English/Spanish

Self-driven individual who can prioritize and multi-task

Bilingual, Spanish preferred
SALARY/BENEFITS

$24.00 – $28.00 per hour (non-degree track)

$28.00 – $32.00 per hour (bachelor’s degree track)

Additional Information
Upon receiving an offer of employment:

Must pass a criminal background check (Live Scan) with the Department of Justice (DOJ)

Must provide a Tuberculosis skin test (Mantoux) clearance within 60 days of employment

Will be assigned mandated state training to be completed prior to the first day of employment
