Job Overview

You will play a key role in maintaining the bar's cleanliness and organization while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink choices.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and mixers; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and bartending skills.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous.
- Experience in sales or retail math can be beneficial for managing transactions efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
