Bartender/Lead Bartender

Vault 31 Bar is looking for bartenders and mixologists to join our rad team!

-For Bartenders, 2 years prior bartending or restaurant experience and knowledge is required.
-For Lead, 4 years prior bartending or restaurant experience and knowledge is required.
-Have your valid Washington MAST permit.
-Must be able to work solo, and with a team at a fast pace. Like 10th level of hell fast...
-Be familiar with classic and craft cocktails.
-Must be able to memorize a menu.
-Must be able to effectively focus on a number of various tasks at once. In other words, Multitask.
-Keep track of inventory.
-Able to be on feet for 4-8 hours a day.
-Able to lift 50 pounds, and be ok with step ladders and heights.
-Can manage time when solo or with a team.
-Keeps cool under pressure.
-Customer service skills.
-Proactive.
-Use iPad based POS systems.
-Comfortable with de-escalation.
-Video game knowledge and culture preferred.
-Must be able to work with super nerds.

BIG BONUS:
-Create weekly/event cocktail specials.
-Confidence in creating custom cocktails based on suggestions/flavor profile.
-Vast knowledge of different spirits, liqueurs, bitters, bar tools and mixers.
-Knowledge and experience with various TV and gaming console hardware from old to new.
-Understanding of TV/Console resolutions and refresh rates, and input/outputs like HDMI, Component, RCA, and RF.
-Able to identify gaming consoles based on controller/layout.
-Knowledge about game studios and exclusive titles.
-Experience running tournaments or contests.
-Basic to advanced tech troubleshooting skills.
-Follow eSports teams/games

Hiring for all shifts.
Tuesday-Thursday: 5:00pm-12:30am
Friday-Saturday: 5:00pm-1:30am
Sunday-Monday: 5:00pm-11:30pm

$19.00 - $30.00 per hour Tips
Higher salary can be discussed for the right applicant.

• Will you be able to memorize a cocktail menu, and be able to make changes on the fly based on customer requests?
• Are you able to create cocktails based on customer suggestions or flavor profiles?
• How long have you been Bartending?
• Some day's you might be working alone, time management and order of operations are key. Do you have previous experience working alone behind the bar? Opening and closing?
• Do you have a reliable method of transportation?
• Have you visited Vault 31 Bar before? Did you try something on the menu? If so, what was your favorite drink you tried? Anything on the food menu?

• Are you familiar with old and new gaming consoles and TV's? Any PC gaming and troubleshooting experience or knowledge.
