REMOTE position with some travel.

Position Summary
Will develop global and / or regional strategies in the areas of planning, sourcing, operations, logistics, inventory and risk management that aligns with our Corporate strategy.
Candidate Profile
- Candidate has led the development and implementation of a successful Sales, Inventory, Operation, Planning (SIOP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
- The candidate must be a professional self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills and a drive for business results.
- Candidate must have experience collaborating with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- The candidate must have demonstrated skills in negotiating corporate contracts for inventory, capital, MRO and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Work closely with Senior Management to create Supply Chain strategy and lead the initiatives.Identify areas of efficiency and cost improvement / control throughout the internal and external Supply Chain.Lead complex supplier negotiations, as well as, execute, manage, and administer key supplier contracts.Reinforce and champion the idea and culture of continuous improvement and motivate ideas for pipeline improvement projects.Lead, coordinate and manage key supplier business reviews.Create and lead Supplier Risk Management activities.Create, implement and / or drive industry and company supply chain best practices.Research and develop new partnerships with Suppliers to support our strategic objectives.Support and help lead Vaupell Operating System (VOS) initiatives globally that relate to Supply Chain.May perform special projects or other duties, as assigned.Qualification Guidelines
Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations).Education / Training & Experience
Bachelor or advanced degree in business, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field. APICS certification preferred.At least four years' procurement experience in a corporate environment.Must have led the development and implementation of a successful Sales, Inventory, Operation, Planning (SIOP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.Superior leadership and communication skills.Advanced proficiency in compiling and interpreting data.Proven ability to negotiate best supplier agreement terms.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Experience working in an operational line management position preferably in the aerospace industry.Demonstrated capabilities in implementing change within organizations and delivering results.Comfortable working with all levels of an organization.Experience working within European and Asian channels.
