We research claims, analyze denials and solve problems while adding value to VaxCares bottom line. As a result, we play an important part in the companys rapid growth We are searching for someone who is passionate about leading data analysis and reporting for the Revenue Cycle Management team at VaxCare What to expect in this role Bad Debt management Identify first pass collection and bad debt trends for healthcare claims Deliver bad debt forecasts and drivers Complete ad hoc analysis of payment issues Analyze quantitative data and synthesize results into meaningful reports and presentations Reporting Infrastructure Design key reports with measurable KPIs that align with business goals and objectives Facilitate building and QA of reporting with internal Data Analytics teams Team Management Train and mentor team to successfully deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting Qualities of the ideal candidate Analytical ability to use logical reasoning and methodology to solve problems Critical thinker ability to brainstorm possible solutions with limited direction Natural curiosity wants to know how billing systems work and interact with each other Strong problem solving skills finds solving problems exciting and not discouraging Detail oriented and focused pays attention to details and checks their work for quality Ability to multi-task ensures all metric-based tasks are completed while supporting ad hoc requests Experience Required Minimum 5 years experience in a Business Analyst role with heavy emphasis on data analysis Advanced skills in key analytics tools including Power BI, Excel, SQL Must have working knowledge of relational databases Experience within healthcare field strongly preferred Must be local to Orlando, FL Note : Team Members in this position will be responsible for implementing and acting in accordance with VaxCares information security policies; protecting assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference; executing specific security processes or activities as assigned by the Information Security and / or Privacy officers; and reporting security events or potential security risks to the organization. Team Members in this role will be involved in the processing of protected patient and / or payment information and will be responsible for ensuring the security and privacy of the information within their scope of work.
