WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE
The Inventory Returns Specialist position within the Inventory department is dedicated to assisting both VaxCare and our Partners in the reconciliation of inventory returns.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, collaborator, and effective communicator. They must be able to manage themselves, as needed, while ensuring that both the quality of work and performance targets are met. Precision and accuracy are keys to success in this role. This role consists of working with:
- Manage vaccine returns received from VaxCare clinic locations.
- Receive and process partner returns to ensure product is returnable.
- Reconcile returns and where applicable, create support cases to provide details behind any potential financial impacts resulting from any necessary adjustments.
- Organize returns by manufacturer and/or product.
- Clean and organize return waste.
- Manage undelivered vaccine returns.
- Research to determine if return was provided to carrier and make necessary adjustments if needed.
- Research returns received by carrier to determine status and submit vendor claims.
- Where applicable, create support cases to provide details behind any potential financial impacts resulting from any necessary adjustments.
- Manage the vaccine room.
- Count and Sort Bins by product type, manufacturer, year, and month.
- Upload sorted boxes into database.
- Regular box audits to ensure accuracy.
- Other Ad hoc responsibilities to support the needs of the Inventory Capital team, including but not limited to supporting partner outreach programs.
