In A Nutshell :

The Analytics team ensures the integrity and accuracy of Vayner's client offerings, an essential piece of delivering Vayner's core value proposition. Using diverse data sets, we create a holistic picture of media performance across advertising platforms, and collaborate with client team's shape that data into a larger story. We support the development of data-driven, actionable recommendations for our clients, with the speed, accuracy, and judgment required for success in today's dynamic media environment. This position would be required to work out of the Culver City office three days a week.

What You'd Do :

  • Lead the development of a robust learning agenda in partnership with client brand teams as well as agency media & strategy teams that measures media plan success
  • Advise paid media teams on test setup & execution, ensuring that measurement ties back to learning agenda and client objectives
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and strategic skills to help solve clients' business problems.
  • Aggregate signals gathered to provide client with success & improvement opportunities in media plans, based on learning agenda
  • Supervise workstreams of junior analysts to ensure executional excellence for analytical workstreams
  • Coach & develop team members on technical skills and industry best practices
  • Contribute to the development of agency best practices around media analytics : measurement, learning agenda development, reporting, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging 1P data to inform paid media approach : leveraging resources available to gather data, designing studies, defining success, executing and reporting
  • Build and maintain deep client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the agency

What You've Got :

  • A minimum 6-8 years of industry experience working within platforms, conducting analyses, and supervising junior resources, with entrepreneurial street cred and / or BA / BS degree
  • Project management experience
  • Ideal candidates will have consulting or similar experience advising senior leadership
  • Understanding of digital media channels, with knowledge of platform best practices and media capabilities
  • Experience with analytics around Performance Marketing and / or Retail Media analytics in the CPG vertical
  • Thorough understanding of data modeling and Media Mix Models
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities, discerning a clear path forward and acting upon them swiftly
  • Strong storytelling capabilities and deep experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or equivalent
