Designs, implements, and manages data solutions within the Snowflake cloud data platform. They are responsible for data storage, ETL processes, and query optimization, ensuring efficient and secure data access for analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Modeling:
Designing and implementing data models within Snowflake to support business needs and ensure data integrity.
ETL Processes:
Developing and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
SQL Development:
Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
Data Security:
Implementing and maintaining data security measures to protect sensitive data within Snowflake.
Performance Optimization:
Tuning queries and data structures to ensure optimal performance and scalability of Snowflake environments.
Data Migration:
Managing data migrations into Snowflake, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Collaboration:
Working with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Tool Proficiency:
Utilizing various Snowflake tools and features, including data sharing, cloning, and time travel.
