Position Title : Automation and Controls Engineer

Work Location : Decatur, Illinois
Job : fulltime
Pay : Up to $150k / year.
Experience with Allen-Bradley systems, Siemens and B&R required~

Relocation Expenses : Would be on a case-by-case basis. Would need to review details / requests before making commitments.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with industrial / process controls, PLCs, software editing , and development, specifically in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience in a project engineer / management role, i ncluding planning, scheduling, and organizing project activities.
Strong understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP 5 compliance guidance.
Experience with QMS systems, including change control, CAPA, deviations, investigations, and SOP management.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency with Allen-Bradley systems is required.
Experience in upgrading SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems.
Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), Windows software, AutoCAD, and BMRAM is highly preferred.
Job Prerequisites :
Ability to meet attendance standards, including the possibility of additional hours to meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as required.
Ability to carry and respond to a cell phone, pager, or radio.
