Position: CT Technician
Location: Chicago, IL
Shift: Nights
Duration: Full Time (Permanent)
Compensation: $76K - $86K (Depends on the Interview and experience)
Job description:
- Perform CT scans following physician orders and imaging protocols.
- Position patients properly to obtain clear and accurate images while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast media (IV/oral) when required, following safety guidelines.
- Monitor patients during scans, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions or medical emergencies.
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with radiation safety regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to assist in accurate diagnoses.
- Document patient history, procedures, and scan results in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Follow infection control and radiation protection protocols to minimize exposure risks.
Requirements:
- 2 Year of recent experience as CT Technician.
- BLS Certification by AHA.
- ARRT Certification required.
- Updated Resume.
- COVID Card.
- 2 recent professional references.
