What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Engineer position at VBeyond Corporation?
Job Description:
- Developing internal packaging requirements
- Updating EPSA
- Designing returnable racks for part delivery between suppliers and the factory
- Managing returnable racks for the customer Campus – including audits, loop sizing, and repair.
- Develop Packaging standards and standard work for the inbound material and Kitting.
- Develop Kitting instructions with Visuals considering into POU process in terms of Orientation, packaging material, sequence.
- Familiar with different packaging materials used in Industry to avoid material damage during Warehouse to Assembly facility during transit.
- Supporting the India team with POs for the repack of material at our external repack vendor (approximately 1286 POs currently).
- Managing feedback to our suppliers for packaging improvements in quality, cost, delivery
- Coordinating of rack repairs and new rack purchases.
