Position: RN – Med Surg/Tele
Location: Chicago, IL
Shift: Nights
Duration: Full Time (Permanent)
Compensation: $65K - $93K (Depends on the Interview and experience)
Job description:
- Monitor and assess patients with acute and chronic conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care following physician orders.
- Interpret EKGs and telemetry readings, recognizing abnormal heart rhythms and responding appropriately.
- Coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Respond to emergencies such as cardiac events or deteriorating patient conditions using BLS/ACLS protocols.
Requirements:
- 3 Year of recent experience as RN Med Surg/Tele.
- BLS Certification by AHA.
- ACLS Certification by AHA
- IL State RN License required.
- Updated Resume.
- COVID Card.
- 2 recent professional references.
