We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient OR environment.
- Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs to ensure optimal care.
- Administer medications, IVs, and anesthesia under the direction of the physician.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the maintenance and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding procedures and post-operative care.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN-Associates) required; BSN or higher preferred.
- Licensure: Active Arizona Registered Nurse License or Compact License required at the time of hire.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a general OR setting.
- Certification: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required upon hire.
Nice-To-Have Qualifications
- Experience in clinical quality or safety.
- Laser/Safety Officer certification.
