Type : Direct Hire Permanent

Shift : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM (Mon-Fri, No Weekend Rotation)

Job Overview : Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead their rehabilitation department in a well-established rehab facility. The DOR will be responsible for managing the rehab team, overseeing physical therapy (PT), physical therapist assistant (PTA), and occupational therapy (OT) services. The role will focus on ensuring high-quality care, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance within a rehab setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and supervise the rehabilitation department, including PT, PTA, and OT staff, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery.
Develop and oversee individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's needs and progress.
Ensure the proper delivery of PT, PTA, and OT services in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Lead, train, and mentor the rehab team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Review and refine departmental policies and procedures to improve efficiency, service delivery, and patient outcomes.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including nursing and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Oversee the management of patient documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.
Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the rehabilitation environment during therapy sessions.
Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education in the rehabilitation field.

Qualifications :

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Occupational Therapist (OT) with a valid and current license in the state of Tennessee.

Previous experience in a rehabilitation facility (not a new hospital setting), with prior management or leadership experience preferred.

In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation therapies, treatment protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Ability to work with patients with various conditions, particularly those requiring rehabilitation for chronic or complex conditions.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.

Additional Details :

Full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule (8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM). No weekend rotation.
