Schedule : Monday - Friday (M-F), 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, with On-Call Rotation for Weekends & Holidays
Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nuclear Medicine and PET CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role will involve performing both PET CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures in a state-of-the-art medical facility. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in either PET or Nuclear Medicine imaging and will be capable of handling a variety of procedures efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate imaging and providing excellent patient care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
PET CT Imaging :
Conduct PET CT scans, including brain scans and whole-body scans.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients via IV injections for imaging procedures.
- Prepare and operate PET scanners (Philips Gemini, mobile unit).
- Ensure patient safety during procedures.
Nuclear Medicine Imaging :
Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures including :
Bone scans, brain scans, whole-body scans, cardiac MPI SPECT, gastric emptying, HIDA scans, and more.
Patient Care :
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort.
Collaboration & Support :
Work closely with the Radiology team, including Radiologists and the Lead Tech.
Administrative Duties :
Utilize Epic and PACS systems (eUnity and MIMS) for patient information and image storage.
Qualifications & Certification Requirements :
Required Certifications :
AZDHS license (must be obtained prior to employment).
Experience :
At least 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine or PET imaging (preferred).

Standard work hours are M-F, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, with occasional weekend on-call rotations.
