Location : Inglewood, CA 90301

Department : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Shift : 12-Hour Night Shifts (19 : 30 - 07 : 00)

Contract Length : 8 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Start Date : ASAP

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team for an 8-week contract position. This is a great opportunity for both travelers and local candidates with at least 1 years of acute care experience to contribute to a high-performing, fast-paced ICU environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and participate in code blue situations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment and decision-making in complex patient scenarios.
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control protocols.

Qualifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
