The Software Test Automation Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software features by designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated tests. We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in manual software testing, data analysis, and test automation, who can effectively collaborate with developers at a technical level to create tests and develop necessary tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Review software requirements and assist in the development of manual test cases for thorough verification.
- Collaborate with software developers and test leads to identify key requirements and create comprehensive manual test cases.
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
- Transition manual test protocols into automated test scripts and support various software features.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects to uphold product quality.
- Utilize CI / CD tools to seamlessly integrate automated tests into the development workflow.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
- Engage in automated script code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process.
- Collaborate as part of cross-functional teams, closely working with R&D engineering and Quality Engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with documented specifications.
- Regularly update the department manager on test activities and communicate issues and trends to relevant groups.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards, including Privacy / HIPAA.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
