Plans, organizes and coordinates related IT projects and programs to obtain identified strategic goals. Ensures outcomes match agreed upon customer expectations and outcomes. Formulates and defines scope and objectives of coordinated projects.Reviews inter-related projects to determine priority, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project. Determines staffing requirements, and allotment of available department resources.Facilitates governance process and supports IT owners in formulating business cases for presentation to appropriate council(s).QUALITY / SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures adherence to standards and procedures for project initiation, planning, execution, control, monitoring, and closure defined by the Portfolio & Process Management Office for all projects within the program.Creates and updates program documentation and reports.Ensures consistent implementation of governance, work plan and staffing for each phase of the project within a program.Facilitates the onboarding and training of new project managers and contractors to the company's project management process and procedures.FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Consolidates project expenditure and forecasts information within the program.Validates budget, actuals, forecast and variance cost with management.Ensure all projects within the program have properly closed project expenditures.GROWTH / INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Proposes opportunities to improve the Portfolio & Process Management Office and leads improvement initiatives by planning, implementing and ensuring adoption. Qualifications : EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline with an information technology focus.WORK EXPERIENCE
Eight years of successful experience in implementing IT multi-project activities, preferably in a healthcare environment.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
