About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven leader to oversee the operations of our large veterinary facility, providing critical, emergency, primary care to pets. As Hospital Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving client satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of medical care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase hospital revenue and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and internal stakeholders
- Lead the development and implementation of onboarding, training, and continuity programs
- Oversee Leaders/Supervisors, Intern Director, and Medical Director who support approximately 90 associates
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Cultivate relationships within the veterinary community to promote the hospital's services
- Support recruitment efforts for medical professionals
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for veterinary care and leadership skills to develop a high-performing team.
- Prior specialty/emergency veterinary management knowledge is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Prior leadership experience in a specialty hospital or multi-site operational business is strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask and handle high levels of stress in a fast-paced environment
