Associate Veterinarian - Allendale, Michigan

VCA Allendale Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Allendale, Michigan.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians.  We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

VCA Allendale Animal Hospital is a fast-paced small animal practice with 2 full time DVMS, 1 part time DVM, 8 credentialed technicians as well as a team of highly qualified veterinary assistants and client service representatives. 

About our full-service hospital:

• Six exam rooms including three spacious rooms to accommodate multiple clients

• Large treatment area with three exam tables and wet table

• Surgical suite with quality monitoring equipment

• In-house laboratory equipment and blood machines

• Oxygen kennels

• Separate recovery area for surgical patients including heated runs

• Separate area for feline patients

• Digital Radiography (dental included)

• Ultrasound

• In-house pharmacy

• Separate isolation room

We are open to filling either a part-time or full-time position with flexibility in your schedule. We are open Monday-Saturday and our doctors rotate half-day Saturday shifts.

We are in between Grand Rapids and Grand Haven which means we are just a short commute to beautiful beaches as well as downtown nightlife.
