VCA Wakulla Animal Hospital, located in Crawfordville, Florida, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team.

We are a 4-doctor practice with a dedicated support staff, including veterinary assistants, technicians, and kennel staff. Our hospital provides comprehensive veterinary services for canines and felines, including:

• Cold laser therapy

• Digital radiology & ultrasound

• Dental cleanings

• Boarding & grooming

We also have a strong commitment to our community, working closely with local rescues, TNR programs, and the Florida Wild Mammal Association, providing care for wildlife in need.

Located just 15 miles south of Tallahassee, Crawfordville offers small-town charm with easy access to city amenities. The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, featuring Gulf Coast beaches, the Apalachicola National Forest, hiking trails, rivers for kayaking, and state parks. Wakulla County has been an “A” rated school district for three consecutive years, making it a great place for families.

Schedule

• Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities available

• Open six days a week (Mon/Wed: 7 AM – 8 PM, Tues/Thurs: 7 AM – 7 PM, Fri: 7 AM – 6 PM, Sat: 8 AM – 4 PM)

• 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays

• Preventive care & wellness exams

• Elective surgeries

• Chronic disease management

• Urgent care

• Wildlife medicine (in partnership with local rescues)

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in (MI), or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
