Bather

The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Cleaning cages.
• Feeding and caring for dogs and cats.
• Walking dogs.
• Bathing dogs.
• Doing laundry.
• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Bath and groom cats and dogs of various sizes, breeds, and coat types.
• Use appropriate shampoos, conditioners, and grooming products based on each dog’s specific needs.
• Dry and brush dogs after their bath to prevent matting and tangles.
• Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other basic grooming tasks as needed.
• Ensure a calm and stress-free environment for the dogs during the bathing process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bathing area, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist in managing appointments, checking in pets, and providing customer service to pet owners.
• Monitor the health and well-being of each dog during grooming sessions and alert management to any concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling pets.

Qualifications:

• Experience with dog bathing and grooming (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work with various dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
• Patience, kindness, and a love for animals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to handle dogs and lift them if necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
