Job Description:

VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT is looking to expand our specialty team! Veterinary Specialists of CT is seeking a Lead Veterinary Anesthesia Technician to join our Specialty Team. Positions are open in Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.

Veterinary Specialists is a 24-7 hybrid and specialty referral hospital located in West Hartford, CT. Lead Veterinary Anesthesia Technician Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Anesthesia procedural monitoring

  • Full Technician Skill Utilization

  • Collect patient history & physical exams

  • Refill medications refills and communicate with clients

  • Medical calculations

  • Venipuncture / IVC placement

  • Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)

  • Work collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

  • Provide compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule: Full-time, weekday shifts. Incentivized voluntary on-call shifts. 

Compensation: $28- $35 per hour (Based upon skill level and certifications)
