VCA Blairstown Animal Hospital in Blairstown, New Jersey is seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to lead our talented DVM team as Medical Director.
Our well-established, AAHA-accredited, 5-doctor small animal practice has a fantastic surgery case-load, so someone that loves surgery would be a great fit!
Our full-service, paperless hospital is equipped with in-house blood diagnostics, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, ECG, high-speed dental unit, dental x-ray, and fluid pumps. We see exotics and we work with a local wolf preserve.
A full-time doctor schedule includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating Saturday schedule. We have organized doctor rounds every day for each animal in the hospital. Mentorship always available. Collaboration among doctors is routine. Special interests are encouraged and supported!
Blairstown is a semi-rural town in beautiful Northwest New Jersey, providing easy access via interstate 80 to New York (one hour) to the east and the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania (1/2 hour) to the west. The region offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, antique shopping, and cultural events.
