What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurologist position at VCA Animal Hospitals?
VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona (ARECA) is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified Neurologist to join our 24-hour emergency/multi-specialty practice serving the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
We offer a very busy, exciting, and interesting caseload with support from VCA hospitals in the area and a large base of referring doctors. Our multi-doctor, 24-hour emergency/specialty practice is one of the top veterinary specialty centers in the Southwest, known for its strong clinical caseload and excellent reputation.
We have a diverse team of specialists, including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Oncology, Emergency Services, rotating interns, and specialty interns. Our dedicated Diagnostic Imaging team consists of three highly trained radiology technicians who work alongside well-trained support staff.
Our state-of-the-art facility features an 18,000 sq. ft. space with a newly renovated 34-bed ICU, equipped with advanced technology such as the Newport E360 critical care ventilator, renovated isolation unit, and 12 patient telemetry system.
We also have access to cutting-edge equipment, including two Sound/Eklin DR systems, 64-slice CT, 1.5 Tesla MRI, Logiq 9 US, DRE monitors, Storz Video Endoscopy & C-arm fluoroscopy in a minimally invasive surgical suite, and USP 800 compliant oncology suite.
