VCA Northwest Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to share in our exciting, fast-paced environment. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have excellent client service and communication skills as we are a Client Centric practice.
We are a General and Urgent Care practice with two locations. Serving the community for over 40 years, we are known for the high-quality medicine we provide and the compassionate, professional culture we embody. Our ideal candidate will be compassionate, personable, a strong communicator, self-motivated, reliable, pays attention to details, and passionate about what we do!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Radiology
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Laboratory work
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have documented previous experience
- Flexibility in schedule
- Client Service Skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player wiling to learn new techniques and methods
