VCA CAVES is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital providing top-tier care to pets in the Concord area. Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and technicians in emergency and critical care cases.
Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and monitoring.
Maintain a clean and organized hospital environment.
Support medical procedures by restraining animals, preparing equipment, and handling supplies.
Communicate effectively with pet owners and team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic imaging as needed.
Follow safety and hospital protocols to maintain a high standard of care.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred.
Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Comfortable handling animals of all temperaments and sizes.
Passion for veterinary medicine and patient care.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
