VCA Povar Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team!

We are a 2-doctor general practice offering primary care, illness care, surgery, and dentistry located in East Providence, R.I. We are close to all the amazing downtown Providence amenities, but located in a quiet neighborhood just off the East Bay Bike Path.

Compensation: $17 to $20/hr, based on experience
What You'll Do
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide compassionate client care during wellness, sick, and sometimes end-of-life visits
- Answering calls, scheduling appointments, patient check-in and check-out
- Reviewing invoices, collecting payments, cash drawer balancing
- Communicating effectively with doctors, technical staff, and your fellow CSR team
- Processing prescription refill requests, pet insurance claims, and online pharmacy orders
- Maintaining hospital email, task lists
- Occasional minor cleaning duties
