$28-35 per hour. Pay based on experience and credentialing

VCA California Veterinary Specialists in Ontario is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team in our neurology department. Our technicians are responsible for the technical duties, client communication and patient care related to their role and department. You would be joining our reestablished neurology department with our awesome Board-Certified Neurologist, 2 hard-working technicians and an amazing Coordinator in the department. We have been established in the Inland Empire for over 10 years and have the only Neurologist and MRI in the area. We take pride in providing outstanding, innovative patient care. Multi-modal monitoring equipment.

Autonomy to perform advanced technical skills: epidurals, various analgesic blocks, arterial catheters.

Responsibilities in this position:

All tasks related to inducing, maintain/monitoring, and recovering patients from anesthesia.

The main resource of providing anesthesia for neurology patients needing imaging and/or surgery.

Think analytically through disease process and patient needs.

Inspire and teach students and new associates.

Ensure documentation is appropriate, thorough, and complete.

Qualifications:

Experienced, credentialed technicians, and neurology experience is a must

Four ten-hour shifts are available for this department.

Paid credentialing and association dues.

$750 in paid CE and numerous free in house CE available, including RACE approved.
