What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at VCA?
We are a looking to hire someone that is dependable, professional, has flexibility with their hours, has excellent communication skills, is able to multi-task efficiently and most importantly is willing to learn. Must be motivated and a team player.
Some of the job duties include but are not limited to : Assisting the doctors, rooming client / patients, caring for hospitalized patients, obtaining blood and other samples, ability to read ear cytologies, operate lab equipment, taking x-rays, assisting with surgeries and dentals, dental radiographs and charting, creating invoices / estimates.
