About the Role
We are seeking experienced RVTs and CVTs to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. As a veterinary technician at VCA San Carlos, you will be responsible for assisting veterinarians and other veterinary technicians with medical procedures, performing laboratory tests, administering medications, and monitoring anesthesia and recoveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians and other veterinary technicians with medical procedures
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Administer medications and take vital signs
- Monitor anesthesia and recoveries
- Prepare surgical equipment and supplies
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a veterinary technician
- A certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
