Turret Truck Forklift Operator

VCNY Home is seeking a reliable warehouse Turret Truck Forklift Operator for our distribution center in Ledgewood, NJ. As a Tower operator, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products. With your expertise in operating as a Turret Truck Forklift driver, you will help maximize productivity and meet our customers' needs.

Two Schedules available:

1st shift M-F starting 7 AM Weekend as needed.

2nd shift M-F starting 10 AM Weekend as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Turret Truck Forklift to move, stack, and retrieve products
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in product placement
• Perform regular maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure proper functioning
• Conduct thorough inspections of products before and after transportation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with all safety regulations
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow
• Provide support in other warehouse operations as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Tower forklift certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Turret Truck Forklift
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent coordination and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
