What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electroneurodiagnostic Technician I- Neurodiagnostics Department position at VCU Health System?
The mission of the Neurodiagnostics Department is to provide the highest quality Neurodiagnostic services to all patients who visit VCU Health. We support our patients with 24/7 Neurodiagnostic testing and offer services across 8 locations within the health system, inpatient and outpatient. The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist performs electroneurodiagnostic procedures using established protocols and procedures in a clinical lab, inpatient, and epilepsy unit setting. Modalities include EEG, AEEG, EMU, Wada Testing, EP, NCV testing, ERG and IOM. Training on modalities will take place on the job and be provided by a Registered Electroencephalographic and Evoke Technologist (ABRET) registry.

Education, Certification & Experience
Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
