The course has once-a-week, 3-hour lectures focusing on the most prevalent cancers (lung, breast, prostate, colon, skin and GI), disparities and social determinants, prediction and screening, and other topics.

- Candidates should hold an MPH or PhD in Epidemiology, Health Sciences Research, or a related field.
- Must have a demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in past experiences or a commitment to do so as an Adjunct Faculty member at VCU.
