The VCU OT department is looking to hire 1 adjunct faculty to co-teach OCCT 693 Occupational Synthesis and Adaptation, a 3-week summer course for Summer 2025. The course dates are from May 19 - June 6. There will be some preparation time prior to the beginning of the course.

Summary
The VCU OT department is looking to hire 1 adjunct faculty to co-teach OCCT 693 Occupational Synthesis and Adaptation, a 3-week summer course for Summer 2025. The course dates are from May 19 - June 6. There will be some preparation time prior to the beginning of the course.
Typical Duties
- Coordinate materials needed for the lab section.
- Teach one of the lab sections of the course.
- Grade student submissions for their assigned lab section.
- Work with students in their design projects to provide guidance, particularly in relation to the skills taught in their assigned lab section.
Required Qualifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience teaching at a graduate level.
- Experienced with maker skills, such as woodworking, sewing, 3D printing, electronics, design thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Occupational therapy practitioner degree
