Chief Purpose of this position:
The Department of Family Medicine and Population Health at Virginia Commonwealth University is currently recruiting for a BC/BE family physician to provide outpatient care. We are seeking a full-time clinician that will be involved in medical student teaching and could participate in departmental research programs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest quality of outpatient primary care services to new and established patients in the community
- Serve on hospital or departmental committees when appropriate
Required Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligible for full staff privileges at VCU Health System
- Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
