Job Description
We are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS services, automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of infrastructure to support business needs.
Automation & Orchestration
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and Terraform/CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Automate deployment, configuration, and infrastructure provisioning.
Monitoring & Logging
- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and proactive issue resolution.
Security & Compliance
- Implement best practices for security, including IAM, encryption, and network security to protect data and applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost.
- Recommend and implement scaling strategies and cost-efficient solutions.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams for seamless integration and software delivery.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong AWS cloud infrastructure management experience.
- Proficiency in Terraform scripting for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and cost optimization strategies.
Certifications (Highly Desirable)
- AWS/Google Cloud Platform Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
- AWS/Google Cloud Platform Certified Solutions Architect Professional
