Job Description:
We are looking for a GraphQL API Lead Developer to design, develop, and optimize data-intensive APIs. You will be responsible for defining GraphQL schemas, improving API performance, and leading best practices for secure and efficient data retrieval. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in GraphQL, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js and is comfortable mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of GraphQL APIs for data-intensive applications.
- Define GraphQL schemas and API requirements, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and optimize GraphQL queries and mutations for effective data fetching and updating.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API performance bottlenecks while ensuring scalability.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data in API interactions.
- Work with JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js to build and integrate APIs seamlessly.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements:
- Experience in backend development with GraphQL, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and API architecture.
- Experience in building and optimizing data-intensive APIs.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and enhance API performance.
- Experience implementing API security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to lead and mentor teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
