Role : Mainframe Developer
Location : NYC,NY Onsite
Type : Contract
Need someone who has experience in mainframe decommissioning
Required Skills :
- Primary skill set is obviously mainframe.
- Decommission the MF and I am performing analysis to determine which components can be decommissioned due to non-usage and working with distributed teams to have components rebuilt on the distributed side.
- Decommission mainframe jobs and transactions, prepare analyses of the work required.
- Report project status and metrics to MS project management.
- Production support - Abend resolution for batch and on-line programs / jobs / transactions.
- Utilize the Ad hoc system to deliver isolated requests.
- Respond to Business Unit questions or concerns.
- Enhancements for specific user requirements or regulatory changes.
