Job Summary
MS Exchange and M365
1. Exchange , M365, Proof Point and Right Fax Administration:
Oversee the setup, configuration, and management of on-premises Exchange servers and/or Exchange Online within the M365 suite.
Manage the lifecycle of Exchange infrastructure, including backups, upgrades, patching, and migration tasks.
Administer user accounts, mailboxes, distribution groups, and permissions within Exchange and Microsoft 365.
2. Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security policies, including data loss prevention (DLP), email encryption, anti-phishing, and anti-malware measures.
Monitor and manage compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements within the M365 environment, including retention policies, legal holds, and eDiscovery.
Manage and audit multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access, and other identity/security measures in M365.
3. Collaboration and Productivity Tools:
Enable and maintain collaboration tools within M365 (Right Fax, Teams, Exchange) to improve employee productivity and communication.
Oversee integrations with other tools and services, ensuring smooth and reliable functionality.
4. Technical Leadership:
Serve as the primary technical expert on Exchange and M365, providing guidance and mentorship to IT team members.
Develop and enforce best practices and standard operating procedures for Microsoft 365 services.
Act as a project lead for deployments, upgrades, and migrations, including Exchange migrations and M365 service rollouts.
5. Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide tier 3 support for Exchange and M365-related incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and root cause analysis.
Maintain uptime and performance of services, addressing any performance or reliability issues.
Collaborate with Microsoft Support and other vendors for complex problem-solving and service escalations.
