Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect with extensive expertise in leading strategic technical engagements, driving solution development, and building robust architectures using the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem. This role demands proficiency in creating winning solutions, modernizing applications, and applying deep technical expertise to solve complex business problems. Key Responsibilities

Sales and Solution Engagements

• Lead proactive and reactive sales motions, participating in customer and advisor conversations, bid submissions, solution workshops, and bid defense sessions.
• Take ownership of technical solution design, sizing, and implementation approaches during the RFI/RFP process.
• Conduct face-to-face discussions with customers, Microsoft teams, and internal business and technology leaders.

Technical Leadership

• Oversee Proof of Concepts (PoCs), landscape assessments, and early-stage technology implementation projects.
• Create and maintain full-stack solution demonstrations within lab environments.
• Conduct reviews and technical evaluations of solution architectures to ensure scalability, robustness, and security.

Delivery Support and Advisory

• Support delivery teams in troubleshooting critical customer-impacting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective measures.
• Act as a trusted advisor and mentor, guiding customers and internal teams on technical best practices and solutions.

Thought Leadership and Program Management

• Lead workshops and contribute to thought leadership by creating and presenting white papers, technical documents, and best practices.
• Apply strong program management skills to track and report activity progress, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor team and individual performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

• 12-15 years of technical experience in roles within Global Systems Integrators (GSI).
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, with a focus on Azure and its integration capabilities.
• Proven expertise in the following areas:
  • The Azure Data/AI stack, including Microsoft Fabric, Foundry, and the Azure OpenAI stack.
  • Microsoft application modernization stack, including cloud-native architectures, agent-based solutions, and AI-powered UIs.
• Relevant certifications from Microsoft or industry-recognized bodies.
• Proven ability to solve complex business challenges and create commercially viable products.

• Experience in similar technical architecture roles focused on the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
• Familiarity with the scale and scope of organizations like HCLTech.
