Job role: .NET Developer

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location: City of Industry, CA Onsite

Job Description:

Must have experience in ASP.NET MVC and Telerik.

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Build, optimize, and maintain web applications using .NET 9, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Blazor.
• Front-End Development: Implement user interfaces using Telerik UI for Blazor, Kendo UI for jQuery, HTML5, and jQuery to deliver engaging and responsive web experiences.
• Back-End Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs, services, and server-side logic to support web applications.
• Build and optimize SQL Server databases, write complex T-SQL queries in stored procedures and function to implement data access and analysis.
• System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and tools to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, debug, and optimize application performance for scalability and reliability.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and bug fixes to ensure application quality and functionality.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software on time. Must be knowledgeable in DevOps and Git.

Key Skill Sets and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in .NET 9 and C#.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and Blazor.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries, specifically the TelerikUI for Blazor and KendoUI for jQuery by Progress.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, jQuery, and modern front-end development principles.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions and database design.
• Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge in Postman or any similar tool is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems like DevOps Git.
• Knowledge in testing and mocking frameworks such as Telerik Test Studio, Telerik JustMock, NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, FluentAssertions or Moq is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
