Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) consultant to drive an enterprise-wide program and strategic project change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions within our organization. This role will be responsible for designing and executing change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance, ultimately improving business performance and operational effectiveness.
This resource will receive direction from the IS PMO Manager to ensure alignment with overall program and project priorities.
MINIMUM SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Must have to be accepted for consideration for this position
Level of Education : B.S. or B.A. Degree
Years of experience in Position Title : Minimum of five years of experience in a Lead Change Management role
Certification(s) : Certification in Change Management methodology such as Prosci using the ADKAR framework or comparable process.
Requirements of the role :
- Drive planning, execution and tracking related to program and project level change strategies that support the organization's vision and goals for the PMO.
- Ability to conduct stakeholder analysis to include a report identifying key stakeholders, their level of awareness, and strategies to engage and communicate with them, working with program and project manager Steering Committees.
- Skilled at identifying change impacts by role and stakeholder groups through current state assessments that will include identification and evaluation of what is going to change and the success factors for the changes.
- Skilled at creating and executing change strategies enterprise wide and ensuring minimized resistance and positive individual behavior change. Identifying potential sources of resistance, developing strategies to mitigate resistance, and identifying resources to address resistance.
- Grounded in results-based approaches and utilizing stakeholder readiness assessment data to engage impacted audiences (leadership to front-line) related to both processes and technical systems involved in the PMO.
- Effective at building sponsorship coalitions which result in shaping and sustaining stakeholder behavior.
- Collaborate with the internal Communication department to create a detailed communication plan that will deliver a unified communication approach to inform stakeholders across the Council to include messaging, audiences, channels and schedule.
- Strong communicator across organizational levels utilizing a variety of communication to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that concisely convey a clear understanding of the message to different audiences.
- Establish and manage a network of change champions / advocates who can help build desire for change by providing support, answering questions and promoting enthusiasm to extend the reaches of the project into stakeholder environments.
- Identify metrics to measure the success of the change and create a plan to track progress. Establishment of metrics and to track the effectiveness of the change and its long-term sustainability.
- Develop "get-to-green" plans to bring readiness back on track when needed, conducting readiness checks throughout life cycle.
- Consulting on training design, development and delivery to ensure the employees acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Develop and execute a sustainability plan to ensure that the changes are embedded and sustained over time, ensuring that they become part of the organization's culture.
- Conduct a post-implementation review to assess the success of the change initiative, gather feedback, and identify lessons learned.
